Family Affair

I have been watching a show called Family Affair. It came out around 1965. It's about 3 children named Sissy, Buffy and Jodi (Buffy and Jodi are the twins.) It's about the 3 children who's parents died and now they live with their uncle Bill and uncle Bills butler, Mr. French. The kids are so cute, but the show is a little cheesy..... but that's what makes it funny most of the time. You can find this television series at the library. I would recommend this show to everyone I know. I think that you will love this show and I will appreciate it if you give this show a try. If you decide to watch this show, tell me how you liked it.

SRYYYYYYYYY............AGAIN

So all my readers out there are probably about to come egg my house if I don't start giving you what I promised, my followers, I know I STILL haven't given you a gift and I am SUPER SUPER SUPER sorry. Also I haven't forgotten about making reviews of all of the presents that I got for Christmas. Life has been hectic and busy these days so that's why I haven't gotten to it yet, but I'll try to get a good start on it this weekend. Again I'm sorry that i haven't gotten to a lot of that stuff yet but i'll try to email all of my followers when the new posts are coming up, again thanks for the patients and support.

THE WORST DAY EVER!!!!!!!

There once was a man, who barely lived to tell this story.
He woke and and said it looked like a good day. He turned on the water. The faucet broke. He called the plumber. He went to eat breakfast and his toast burned, his wife burned his bacon. His wife told him to bring home food. As he was leaving the door fell off. When he was driving, he got a flat tire. When he was changing it, he ripped his pants. He started the car and kept driving. The engine blew up. He started walking and the wind blew his hat away. He ran after it, but he fell into a manhole. He climbed out and bumped into a lamp post. A policeman yelled at him for denting the post. He was starting to think it wasn't such a good day. He hung his head and kept walking, but he didn't look where he was going at walked into a lady and spilled all her groceries on the sidewalk. They just happened to be eggs. Another policeman gave him a ticket for littering the sidewalk. He decided to go home. At least his day couldn't get worse. When he got home, his house was up to his waist in water. The plumber has spent all day finding new leaks. He said he'd come back the next day to fix them. His wife asked if he had brought home food, she wanted a hot meal. Of, course, he had forgotten, so they ate cold pickles for supper. As he was going upstairs to bed, he was so happy that he could rest and not another bad thing could happen. He got into bed. It broke.

Have you ever had a day like this?

If at the end of the day, you're bored out of your mind, you didn't go anywhere or do anything, but nothing bad has happened, be thankful for all the good days you've had.

recipes!!!!!

Tis' the season to eat food! Christmas dinner is coming around the corner and it's time to make mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, turkey, coleslaw and everything in between! So I am going to give you a great recipe that you might want to try out.

cookie dough truffles

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate morsels
• 1 cup finely chopped pecans
• 1 1/2 pounds chocolate bark candy coating, melted

Directions

In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla. Gradually beat in flour and add milk. Add chocolate morsels and pecans, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on waxed paper; chill 2 hours.

*Cook's Note: Since the dough is sticky, roll your fingers into flour. This will make it easier to roll.

Melt chocolate bark candy coating in a double boiler. Using 2 forks, dip cookie balls into candy coating to cover. Place on waxed paper and chill to set. Store in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

The Fight For Breast Cancer!

Me and a couple of my friends have started a fund for breast cancer called C G O Cares. The reason we chose to fund breast cancer is because my friend Gracie (who is the president of C G O Cares) has two aunts that are breast cancer survivors and her great aunt died of it. So we have been selling cookies to raise money for breast cancer research. We aren't exactly sure what breast cancer research place we are going to donate to yet but we have been searching for one, here are the two that we have been considering... The Susan G. Komen Foundation and The National Breast Cancer Foundation. I made a flyer that people can buy cookies from and another one that explains what I am trying to do. I am hoping that I can pass out the flyers at a local school, but I am still waiting for an answer from the principle of the school. I am going to paste the flyer and order sheet I made on my blog for you to take a look at, but unless you go to the school I am sending the flyers to you can't buy any because it would get way to complicated to send and everything. Any way here it is hope you enjoy! :)

C G O Cares – A Supporter in Breast Cancer

For years women have battled with breast cancer, trying to find a cure. Gracie Williams, Catherine Hanson, and Olivia Tan are having fundraisers, and selling cookies to raise money for breast cancer research. We will be donating all the money we make to breast cancer research, none will be going to us.

Why Breast Cancer?

The reason we chose breast cancer is because 2 of Gracie’s aunts are breast cancer survivors and her great aunt died from it and we realize how important and scary it is to have a relative with that type of disease and we want to help all the other families out there that are waiting for a cure. Some people want to leave it to everyone else to find the cure but we are acting now to prevent it!

COOKIES, COOKIES, COOKIES!

We need a way to earn money to donate and we have decided to sell cookies! If you want to help find a cure just fill out the form on the back and buy a couple. Each cookie is $0.75, the price may seem a little high but it’s for a good cause. So please help and buy some cookies for breast cancer battlers! J

The Riddle

Justice

A couple days ago I went to the store Juctice and today I'm going to rate it so here it goes. Well first I asked a couple girls what they thought of it.

Girl 1: "I love it! There so trendy and i love neon colored clothes!"

Girl 2: "I think Justice is ok. I would like it more if there prices were lower, they are kind of ripping us of."

Girl 3: It's way to girly there but I heart the decor'."

This is what I think of it. I like there clothes but actually all their clothes are usually the same during different seasons, they just have different arm lengths. But they do have some cute pieces, altogether it's an ok store.
